Benefit skin care review !!!

Hello and welcome to my blog !!
Today's post is going to be about the benefit b.right radiant skincare kit. This isn't anything I ever really thought I would write about as I'm not hugely into skincare so I just didn't think I'd be fussed; I'm most likely going to buy all of these products in full size!!!
So let me tell you a little bit about my skin, I have combination skin but it tends to be more on the dry side, I do have eye circles :( the joys of being a full time mum eh!! I've always stuck to basic supermarket face washes and stuff I've never really bothered with anything major except for I once bought a dermoligca product after a facial I had - but I don't think I ever really used it. Anyway back to my skin as I said I'm combo but more dry  I do break out a lot if i for some reason don't wash my face or depending on hormones 👎
My discovery of benefit skin care products was after a visit to the benefit counter getting a sample of total moisture cream, at this time I had a really bad dry patch on my cheek that was not budging after 2 days of using this sample my dry patch was gone and I new I needed too own it - so upon my next visit to the benefit counter I saw this little kit and thought why not try a few products at once.
So now I've rambled on enough I'm going to get into an in depth description on each product how it works for me and what other skin types I think it'll work for!!

Triple performing facial emulsion - I'm not going to lie the name of this confused me I was completely sure what it was for - real blonde moment!! Anyway this is actually a moisturiser. I like this moisturiser for day wear under makeup, it has a really fresh almost like cucumber scent too it, and is lovely too apply and oil free - honestly I feel this is a good moisturiser but for me is not an essential I think this will work well for people with really oily skin.  Nearly forgot, this product does have SPF15 which is always a really good thing too see in a moisturiser, I might try wearing it at the beach this summer and see if I like it a little more then as more of a sunscreen.

Total moisture cream - for me this is just perfect like wow perfect. The name is so fitting it really is total moisture since using this product my skin has never felt so smooth and supple!!! Again this has that fresh cucumbery scent too it (I really should look up if these are scented), which pretty much all of these products have and I love that!! A little goes a long way. This cream is really a heavy cream so I prefer to use it at night or on those no makeup days. I think if you have really oily skin this is definitely not going to work for you.

It's potent eye cream - now as I said I do have dark circles *sobs* but anyway I suppose they aren't anything major to be worried about, again eye creams aren't a product I ever really bothered with but I've always done things for my eyes like cucumbers and tea bags!! I remember reading once somewhere that eye creams where just a selling point and not necessary so I think mainly for that reason I didn't bother. Any way I need to actually talk about the cream so this is the only product that doesn't have that lovely fresh scent instead it smells more medical.
The cream itself is slightly off colour I'm really not sure how to describe it, it looks tinted but it doesn't show up at all. I've been using this cream every morning and night I've even been putting it in the fridge for 10 minutes before use, it has reduced my dark circles but certainly not dramatically. I'm unsure on weather I'll be buying this in full size I'm kind of weird and like having 'complete sets' so I must likely will just for that reason!! Oh FYI this REALLY hurts if you get it in your actual eye 😭😭😭

Moisture prep toning lotion - again I've never really used toner, I don't feel I can give a huge review on this I've been using it since I got it, I'm unsure if it is really making any difference to me or what it is even doing. My moisturiser does apply lovely on top I will buy the full size of this because I like the whole kind of step by step thing I'm trying to be really into skincare so I will buy it, but if you do have a little more understanding on toners, please let me know what this is supposed to be doing.

Foamingly clean facial wash - I am LOVING this, my skin feels so clean and refreshed after using it. I kind of expected it to be majorly foamy but it has a lovely foam and its definitely not too much - I personally use this product every a morning and evening and I don't feel that you need loads of it. 100% I will be buying full size I've not had any breakouts since using it I'm just loving it. I feel this product will be good for all skin types!!

Refined finish facial polish - last but by no means least, this exfoliater again is great, I use this every morning even though it it is recommended for 1/2 times per week. My skin really does feel polished after using this, it's so smooth and really gets rid of any impurities this teamed with the Foamingly clean facial wash is brilliant like absolutely perfect again I will definitely be purchasing this product and feel it'll be good for all skin types.

If you are thinking of purchasing any benefit skin care products I would definitely think about purchasing this little kit, it's a really good way for you to get a real feel for the products and decide if you want to spend the money on them. This retails for £13.95 at John Lewis and the little bottles and tubs last way longer then expected!!

My top 3 drugstore must haves !!

Hello and welcome to my blog!!! This post is going to be all drug store - drug store products I feel everybody needs! I'm sure you've all gathered my love for high end products but also I like to save some money, I plan on purchasing a chanel le boy bag one day so cut backs need to be made 😝

So firstly my all time favourite lipstick is drugstore, bourjois rouge edition. This is such a creamy long lasting and pigmented formula I own it in almost every colour and its most likely what I'm wearing daily, it's such a beautiful lipstick. The packaging is great it smells nice it feels
Nice and it looks nice there are literally no faults with this - and it's only £7.99 !!!

My second must have drug store product is makeup revolution vivid baked highlighter in pink lights, this is a new purchase for me and it has quickly become my favourite highlighter,
It is so so perfect I cannot explain. It's very pigmented and lasts all day it's just the most perfect thing - I'm loving the whole makeup revolution brand as its so cheap I really wasn't expecting much but boy was I wrong. Get yourself this highlighter it's only £3!!!!!!!

Number 3 I've been buying this product since I was about 12, rimmel London kajal khol eyeliner pencil, I feel like everybody probably already owns this or has owned it. It is by far my favourite eyeliner and I've tried a lot of eyeliners I literally open my makeup bag and have 7 of these pencils all in black.
love them. And I believe this pencil is a mere £2.99 !!!

Please let me know all about your favourite drug store items and what you think I should try! As always any feedback is appreciated!

Lottie London!!

Hello and welcome to my blog!!
I literally just have to write about this brush because I am obsessed!!
I spotted lottie london a couple of months ago whilst browsing superdrug, I was drawn into the beautiful colours and softness of the brushes! I really wanted one but was a bit dubious as Ive never heard of them. But whilst in superdrug the other day I just bit the bullet and got one. I chose the powder brush which is in a pale blue colour I chose this as I thought it would be most versatile.
The brush its self is gourgeous and even if it wasn't great it'd look lovely on display, so far there has been zero shedding - it's so soft and fluffy I kind of excepted a little shedding considering the price £7.99.
This brush is just perfect I really cannot fault it, it gives me a perfect layer of powder and I've even used it for my blusher and for blending out my powder highlight and contour.
The brush washes beautifully, and doesn't loose shape at all 🙈
I'm definetlty going to be investing in all the lottie London brushes and trying the nail polish.
Honestly I don't feel that ive really got across how amazing this brush is, I just love it.
Lottie London is available in superdrug or on asos.

Makeup haul !!

Hello and welcome to my blog !!
This post is going to be my little haul - I never do huge hauls (makeup is expensive), everymonth I have a makeup budget and I tend to go over it, I definitely did this month 🙈.
So let's start with the high end -
Yves Saint Laurent ...
As you know I got the the blur primer last month well I've now completed my touché éclat collection!! I've got the touché éclat foundation in BD 50 beige dore - I choose to go a little warmer with this foundation as its really glowy and gives me a really sun kissed look!!
I got the blur perfector which I absolutely adore and have wanted for so long!!
And I've finally got can you believe my first ever touché éclat pen !!
Then I went over to benefit and picked up the hello flawless powder in the colour  'I'm cute as a bunny honey' this powder is completely beautiful like it is so perfect I just can't put it into words just get to your local benefit counter and try it you will not regret it !!!
From benefit I also got a little skincare set.
Now to drugstore, my partner had to literally drag me out of John Lewis I still had so much more I wanted to get !! Oh I did get a sample of Estée Lauder double wear light if anyone is interested to see how that goes let me know !!
So brushes I got the realt techniques sculpting set and so far I love it! And a lottie London powder brush.
Then I got some bits from the brand makeup revolution -
I got 2 vivid baked highlighters in the colours pink lights and golden lights
2 bronzers one is the ultra bronze the other is the vivid baked bronzer in bronzed fame.
I got a liquid concealer in fair.
A translucent pressed powder
And finally a blushing heart in bursting with love ❤️
There's a part of me that feels I need more 🙈

Glossy box !!

Hello and welcome to my blog! I've been slacking a little with blog posts I do apologise!! I had my daughter christened and have just been so busy I haven't had time!!
This post is going to be about my very first glossy box - now for those of you who don't know what glossy box is, it's a monthly beauty subscription. You pay £10 a month and get sent 5 'luxury' beauty samples right to your door.
I'd been looking for a subscription box for a while and had been doing my research and eventually chose glossy box.
This months edition was a 50's Hollywood glamour theme and anyone who knows me knows how much a I love anything 50s so I had to have it!
I recived the box on the mint green colour and it is truly gourgeous and will be great for storing makeup too !! Inside it has the quote 'we are all of us stars and we deserve to twinkle' Marilyn Monroe.
The box was beautiful to open with th inside contents wrapped in tissue paper and stringy paper stuff (cannot think of the name forgive me). I was so excited to open my box I opened it in the car outside the post office 🙊
In all honesty I wasn't overly thrilled with the contents of my box I will only really use 1 product.
First thing in the box was the one I knew I was getting the Lord and berry lipstick/lip crayon in the colour kiss - the formula of this is lovley but unfortunately the colour is just not me at all so I've given this to my sister who will hopefully get some use out of it!!!
Next was a small pot of astral cream - it smells nice enough and is good as a moistrusier but it really is nothing special and certainly not 'luxury' I think the snaps I was sent is worth about 87p :/
next was an idc body lotion in rose - I can't comment much on this I hate rose scented creams so it was given straight to my sister!!
Next was a black kajal eyeliner pencil by pop beauty, I love black pencil eyeliners so I will use this until it finishes, it's a great eyeliner and glides on perfectly !! I do love this eyeliner.
Lastly was a nail varnish by colour club in the colour 'barley there', I'm yet to use this nail varnish and I'm doubtful I will the colour is not something I'd choose and the formala seems very runny.
All in all I'm not as impressed with this box as I thought I would be .... I think if next months box is as uninteresting I will cancel the subscription and maybe switch to birch box?
Please let me know about your thoughts on glossy box or any other boxes !!

Insomnia cosmetics

Hello and welcome to my blog!! So recently I won a lipstick and this morning it came so exciting! So I wrote a little briefly about the company it's from called 'insomnia cosmetics', it's a vegan brand sold on etsy from Hawaii. So firstly let me talk about the packaging, I was so excited when the postman came and there was this little pink package on the floor I was so eager to get it open, inside was a little plastic bag with my name on and a love heart so cute! There was some cards inside with some discounts and the liquid lipstick!! The packaging of the lipstick itself is nothing amazing just a standard tube with a label sticker and colour name at the bottom - but this is an independent company and the product is great! So as soon as I got it I swatched it in my hand, this is so pigmented and nice and creamy it takes a while to dry compared to other liquid lipsticks I've used, but I think that's a good thing as you have more time too apply it too your lips. Literally straight after switching on my hand I had to try it on my lips, I can't tell you how amazing this colour is its so pretty. It goes on nice and creamy and feels quite nourishing, I really suffer from dry lips and it's one of the reasons I kind of avoid liquid lipsticks because I just end up looking crusty but I definitely don't feel like this lipstick is going to do that to me. I literally applied the lipstick like 5 minutes ago (yes I was that excited I had to blog straight away), and it's still not dry so I'm going to let it dry and then write a little more about how it holds up on my lips with eating/drinking.
Right so after about another 5 minutes so 10 minutes total it's dryish but it's gone very opaque, so I'm going have my breakfast and touch it up a bit and then take some pictures!
It's so funny my one year old keeps poking my lips she's so confused as to why my lips are blue!!
Right so ive my morning tea with the lipstick on it does transfer a little on to the cup but nothing major I touched it up and once dried all the opaqueness had gone and it was perfect ive since taken it off and it comes off so easy like I've said I have really dry lips and most liquid lipsticks require so much scrubbing and it's so drying but this has actually left my lips feeling soft!!
I'm going to do my makeup now so I can take some proper pictures for you all!!
Overall I feel this lipstick is a great product, and come payday I shall definitely be purchasing some more products from insomnia cosmetics one in particular im wanting is 'bone dust'

Primer comparison !

Hi there and welcome to my blog!! So recently I purchased ysl touche eclat blur primer and I when I sent a picture to my bestie she said it looked very similar to a guerlain primer she has (pictures below). I've already written about the ysl primer so please refer to that post if you'd like more info on that. These too primers are complelty different despite looking similar. Now let's start with the main 'similarity', the gold flecks, the ysl primer only contains gold pigment with gives a very slight shimmer in the sun the guerlain primer contains 24 carat gold which is absorbed by the skin, which is is a lot more beneficial in terms of skin care. Now for the actual formula the ysl is a lot heavier then the guerlian and is more of a silicone, I think the ysl is better for heavier makeup; the guarlain is very hydrating its almost watery in comparison to the ysl, you can definitely feel that it's better for your skin. Also the ysl is very scented whereas I couldn't actually smell anything when I applied the guerlain but unfortunately I didn't give it a proper sniff !!! Overall these are both great primers both with a great staying power and both can be worn bare; however the both serve different purposes for me I'll be sticking to the ysl beause it works for me! And is a lot cheaper then the guerlain but if the opportunity to use it came up again I wouldn't say no! They might look slightly similar but they certainly aren't!

Gosh prime'n'set powder ...

Hi there and welcome to my blog!! This is about a priming and setting powder I purchased the other day in my mini haul unfortunately this isn't a positive reveiw.
So let's start I love gosh cosmetics I think they do some really great products and have a professional image I thought this would be a good product. I tried it in store on the back of my hand and it was great and was really smoothing and just generally seemed great so I thought why not as opposed to my usual setting powder. This morning was the first time I used it and I am completely unimpressed. So i moisturised as usual let my moisteriser dry then applied this primer powder all over my face with a real techniques powder brush. The powder kind of goes everywhere and has an almost bleachy smell and it also made me look really pale. I then applied a sample I had of chanel perfection lumiere velvet, I always use the perfection lumiere, but I was trying something with a little lighter coverage - this foundation is actually great so far and I think I definitely will be purchasing. The primer definitely bought down the quality of the foundation it was almost balling up underneath and just felt really horrible as a base i continued with the rest of my makeup routine but skipped out using the setting powder as it well my expeirece so far had been awful. Throughout the day my skin has felt dry and makeup has not lasted ive had it on for about 3 hours now and I feel almost bare faced also if I rub across my face loads of dry flecks of foundation come off which is really gross and completely down to the primer. I'm really not impressed with this product in the slightest and it's such a shame beause I was really excited for it. But oh well.
Thankyou for reading my blog any feedback is appreciated and please follow my Instagram billiesbeautyinsta

Mini makeup haul !!!

So I went out today with the intention of buying my little sisters birthday present and getting myself nothing ... Now I can't say what it is but it was from the benefit counter (hope she doesn't read this), I have no will power how could I be amoungst all this makeup and not get myself one thing?? So I got myself one thing benefits rockateur blusher its sooooo pretty I can't wait too use it!!! I then went into superdrug with the interning of getting some hairdye .... I can't go in superdrug without looking at the makeup now can I??? So whilst there I discovered a brand called 'I heart makeup', I was a little confused as one of there palettes is called 'makeup geek' so I thought it was the 'makeup geek' brand originally and go so excited because I've never seen it before but alas it wasn't. But oh well because this brand is also great!! So many products I want so many what look to be dupes of too faced products; I got the 'parental advisory explicit content' eyeshadow palette and I'm already loving it can't wait to buy more !! Whilst in superdrug I also picked up a real techniques blush brush, a bourjois lipstick (the rouge editions have the most beautiful formula and are so pigmented)and finally a gosh cosmetics prime n set powder which looks and feels great!! And guess what I forgot my hairdye!! I'm so excited too use these products, is there any you would like some more in depth reveiws on? Please let me know and leave me some comments please subscribe and follow my Instagram billiesbeautyinsta thanks for rewarding beautiful people enjoy your day 😘😘😘

My Easter weekend !!

So this post is going to not be about beauty at all here in going to tell you all about my Easter weekend :) I've had such a fab Easter I hope you all have too!!
So I literally just posted a picture of me and my baby on my Instagram (billiesbeautyinsta), and let me tell you has that girl been spoilt!! On Saturday we went shopping to get the last little bits for her christening which is happening in a couple of weeks. She has the most gourgeous Sarah Louise dress I literally fell in love with it the minute I saw it, it's stunning!! I won't list what we bought for her christenening because her outfit is a suprise, but I cannot wait too see it all on!!
So for Easter she got ... 8 Easter eggs !!! Some pyjamas and slippers from one of her nanas and some money in the bank from the other - what a spoilt girl hey I only ever remember getting one egg for Easter. Neglected child over here 🙋.
On Saturday whilst out shopping we also tried 5 guys, how disgusting is that place?? Having seen so much hype about to I was really looking foward to trying it but ew no I definitely don't recommend; the burger was just like greasy rubber why would anyone wanna eat that ?? 😷😷😷
And then for Easter Sunday I had a lovley lay in (thanks k), and then was served a cappuccino and toasted hot cross bun in bed by my lovley boyfriend ❤️ then w just had a lazy day eating chocolate until late afternoon when I went to meet one of my dearest friends for some dinner and to watch the spice girls movie sing along up Leicester Square !!
It's literally been the lovliest weekend with some of my most favourite people 💞
Tomorrow I'm going to buy my little sister some birthday presents and then taking K to the wetlands centre where we will feed the ducks and as promised my anastasia Beverly Hills cream contour kit review will be up tomorrow !!
Thankyou all for reading hope you've had as good a weekend as me !!

I won something!!!

Hi there and welcome to my blog!!
I had the worst nights sleep due to noisy neighbours and I got woken up early by my boyfriend leaving for work; feeling pretty crappy I had a look over at my phone to see loads of Instagram notifications saying I had won a lipstick from a place called insomnia cosmetics!!
I've been looking into vegan makeup do a while now and I always try to buy cruelty free. Insomnia cosmetics is a vegan independent makeup brand sold on etsy I believe it's hawian! The colours they do look so amazing I can't wait to receive my lipstick 💄 I'm secretly hoping it'll either be in the colour stone or hibiscus. I'll write an in depth review once I've received it but I'm just so excited I had to share the fact I even won!!!
Also could anybody share some good vegan makeup brands to me (not lime crime), that I could try out? And then maybe I could do a whole vegan makeup blog!
Thankyou for reading please let me know what you think and follow my Instagram billiesbeautyinsta have a good day !!

Lusting for ...

I'm I'm Hello and welcome to my blog!! My original plan for today was an Anastasia Beverly Hills cream contour kit review and demo but I'm feeling ill so taking pictures is a no no so hopefully I will be able to do it tomorrow. Today's post is going to be about what products I'm lusting after for the summer, be warned there's a few. So firstly lets get into my favourite brand .....
Chanel - They're is some beautiful stuff coming out in the Mediterranean collection; I am lusting after the lumiere d'Ete, it's a gorgeous bronzer shaped very similarly to the Camelia de plumes they bought out at Christmas (which I'm still trying to get my hands on!!).
I'm also thinking of switching my usual Chanel foundation - perfection lumiere in b40 to the vitalumiere just because I feel like it might be a little bit of a lighter coverage for those summer days.
Laura mercier -  I'm yet to try any Laura mercier products despite wanting to for ages!! A couples of weeks a go an American I follow on Twitter posted a picture of a beautiful Laura mercier highlighter and I searched and searched the Internet for it with nothing coming back :( so I took the picture to the counter where I was told its coming out in may/June time, I still cannot find any info online for this highlighter but I will be visiting the counter everyday to get this because it looks so pretty!! I'm also wanting the Laura mercier contour kit, I've been loving learning to contour and I want to explore different products a bit so this is definitely on my list. I've also always liked the look of the loose setting powder; basically I'm thinking a bit of a splurge on Laura mercier!!
Becca - becca is another brand I haven't tried, I've read many great things about the 'ultimate coverage complexion cream ' and the highlighter which I think I want in the shade opal. The only reason I haven't tried becca yet is because in the uk it's only sold at space nk which I don't ever vist As its no where near me, but I think I'll be getting up there soon.
Tom Ford - I want everything Tom Ford but these are the two products I have decided to invest in, the lipstick in Blush Nude and the bronzer brush. I will say no more about Tom Ford because I'm just going to tempt myself even more and it's far too expensive.
Kat Von D - I think I want everything, I'm desperate to try the foundation but as its not sold in the uk at all I've no idea what shade to get and don't want to ship it over and it be wrong so I'm doubtful that I'll ever get to try it :( (unless somebody wants to take me over to New York or something ya know just for the day). I've read many great things about the contour kit shade and light so I'd like to try that too and I've seen lots of great tutorials using the monarch pallette so yes I want that.
Spectrum brushes - I came across these brushes whilst browsing Instagram I've no actually heard of them or seen any reviews but they are stunning looking brushes and I just think they'll look great in a brush holder. But I'll let you know about them once I've tried them!!
I could go on and on and on about all the products I want but I won't because I'd like to do a haul blog soon and would like some of the products to be a suprise ;)
Thankyou for reading my blog please let me know what you think and be sure to follow my Instagram billiesbeautyinsta

Anastasia Beverly Hills cream contour kit.

This product is my life. I completely adore this. I was trying for ages to teach myself to cream/liquid contour, buying all different foundations and concealers and just ended up looking a mess all the time and then this was launched; I'm not religious but thankyou God or whoever is up there. This is the most perfect most blendable contour product EVER, I cannot express to you how much I love this.
Now firstly let me talk a little about anastasia Beverly Hills for those of us in the uk who have never heard of this fabulous brand - it is a American brand created by Anastasia Soare originally from Romania. Anastasia is very well known for creating amazing eyebrows and they're amazing brow products (all of which I'm yet to try 😭😭). Abh cosmetics are very popular amoung celebrities and makeup artists. Also they are cruelty free which is always a bonus for me. Here is a link to video with a breif history of Anastasia Beverly Hills - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=otfmbuhUQA4
Right now let me start on the kit itself - there are currently 3 shades avalible these are light, medium and deep; they are coming out with a fair kit but I'm not sure when it drops. The kit I have is medium which i kind of regret choosing as I could of done with the light kit but I can get by on medium, for now ;).
So you get 6 colours in each kit all of these colours are removable from the pallette it's self; each colour is 0.16 0z which doesn't seem like a lot but a little goes a long way. All of these colours are super pigmented creamy and blendable, there a little stiff to start with but once you've got a brush moving around in them they pick up beautifully.
The first shade is banna which is my highlight shade, I apply banna (using my small tapered kabuki brush from my ebay set), to the centre of my forehead, along my nose, in the corners of my nose, in the centre of my chin and along my jaw, my Cupid's bow, the corners of my lips and on my brow bone (I will post a picture below), then I blend with my real techniques stippling brush. Banna is a beautiful colour to highlight with, with a lovely subtle yellow undertone.
The next colour in the kit is cream, which for me actually works as a foundation. I apply this with a bog standard foundation brush all over my face. Obviously this is not designed as a foundation but it gives me a light/medium covarge and I actually feel like my highlight and contour sits so much better with this as a base.
Next is warm coral I loveeeee this colour and use it as a cream blush, it's super pigmented as I mentioned before and gives a nice healthy warm glow.
The next is nude - depending on what kind of contour look im going for this is either my transition colour or contour colour in the pictures I will show it as my contour colour, I basically put this above and below every where I have highlighted and again I blend with a real techniques stippling brush or a flat top big kabuki from my ebay kit.
The next colour is cinnamon, if I'm going for a heavy contour I use this above nude but only very slightly as too much of this will make me look orange - and in all honesty I only really do this because I want to get as much use out of the pallette as possible.
The next colour is chocolate which I will never be able to use and have only swatched a few times.
I feel like the medium kit may work a little better for me if I had a tan, and I will definitely be purchasing the light kit as soon as my banana shade runs out.
This contour kit has been so amazing for me as I have learnt to contour I'm still yet to perfect the technique but this has made it 100% easier for me. My only regret with this is colour I chose, I wish I could of seen it in store before hand so I could of made a better choice I felt the same with the liquid lipstick I bought too. Please anastasia Beverly Hills, start selling in the uk (preferably at John Lewis), and that is all I have to say about this super amazing product thankyou for reading !!
I'm so sorry this has taken me so long to put up ive been ill and taking pictures of my face has been a scary prospect haha !! I'm please leave me some comments and please subscribe!!

Cheap makeup finds (reposted as accidentally deleted)

Hello and welcome to my second post so exciting!
As I said previously I'm going to telling you all about some fab cheap finds of mine 😉
Now I love love loveeee high end makeup (who doesn't?), but unfortunately my budget doesn't always stretch to those high end products 😞 my all time favourite makeup brand is Chanel, everything they do is perfection in my eyes and I was really shocked a few weeks ago when I discovered Chanel is actually owned by drugstore brand bourjois! Bourjois actually being my favourite drugstore brand how coincidental, so I began to compare the products and found a lot do have similarities especially the blushers; in my opinion, they are both baked and come in very similar colours - now with the Chanel blushers you get a little more product and of course it is better quality but I'd rather buy the bourjois as it is much better value for money and almost the same it's an absolute gem! I've always loved bourjois and now realising how similar they are to Chanel I love them even more! ❤️another bourjois product I love is the chocolate bronzer mmmmmm it smells so good it makes me hungry, the other day I bought the bronzer and highlighter duo which was £8 and it has been amazing for powder contouring!
Another amazing find of mine is eBay brushes! I was looking into upgrading my makeup brush collection to sigma brushes, which are supposed to be amazing unfortunately I have never used sigma brushes so I can't compare but some YouTube videos I've found have called these brushes a 'dupe', so I had a look for my self firstly I noticed the colours they come in I'm a sucker for anything pink and they come in pink yay!!! Then the price ..... 10 yes ten kabuki brushes in pink for £7.25 with postage and packaging!!! How could I resist, I thought to myself even if I get them and they're not great I haven't really lost anything so I went for it and omg it's the best thing I've ever done!! You get 5 big kabukis and 5 kabuki detailers. They do not feel like cheap brushes, the softness of them felt to me much like body shop brushes and no shedding ??? The only part that felt a little cheap is the handles but who cares? So I tried them out the only faults is they hold a lot of product I tried using the buffing brush to blend out my Chanel perfection lumiere foundation and felt like it just took it all off and soaked it all up, but I'm wondering if spraying them with a Setting spray first might help but for any powder product they are completely perfect! If anyone wants the link for these brushes please let me know!
Right I think I've written enough for now as I would still like stuff to write about in my next post! Please let me know what you think and any improvements I could make 😊 thankyou for reading!

Ysl touche eclat primer,

Hello and welcome to my blog!
I've started up an Instagram page to coincidence with this blog so please give it follow its billiesbeautyinsta :). So last night I uploaded a picture of my ysl touche eclat primer so I'm going to give a mini reveiw on it and my first impressions.
I haven't actually had this primer long literally a couple of days but it has already become one of my favourites! I've never really bothered with expensive primers too much; honestly I didn't see the point. Touche eclat blur primer has completely changed me I am a women obsessed.
So I was browsing the ysl counter determined to treat myself but I could not decide what I wanted i must of walked around the counter about 4 times and the only thing I was drawn to was this beautiful glass bottle with a gold lid something clear inside and little gold flecks but it was a primer, I didn't want a primer. I left the ysl counter and I actually couldn't stop thinking about it, it had really grabbed my attention. So I went back and tried a little on my hand, at first it was exactly what I thought it would be, it felt quite heavy and slimey ewww but after rubbing it in for a few seconds I had fallen in love!! It is so so smoothing like nothing I've ever felt before it has this beautiful almost peachy smell to it and the little gold flecks as mentioned earlier are hardly noticeable untill the light hits it a certain way. So I purchased it still kind of expecting myself to not use it so much but I've used it everyday since. My skin I usually terrible for soaking up makeup, but this has helped my makeup last all day !! All day wow when I took it off I was shocked how much was left! Today it's the only thing I have on my skin I love it I highly highly reccomend this product im now so excited to try the blur perfector and touche eclat foundation!!
